So you want to know how your Joomla site is on SEO? | Joomla SEO

It has been a while since my latest post, but I really have been busy working on new website building projects.

So my time is already limited, because I do all this stuff on the Internet after my normal daytime job.

Why? because I like to share knowledge, get in touch with new idea’s and try them to see what happens, and of course communicate with others about Joomla and SEO.(See the Blog-roll for my favorites!)

But today I found a little website that will gives you an impression on how well your are doing with your SEO efforts.

You do have some idea from your visitor counts I hope! But here is the URL to get a really nice overview of SEO Information like:

  • PageRank
  • Backlinks
  • Indexed Pages
  • Rankings
  • Social Bookmarking
  • RSS Feed counts and more

So go and check your own domain at http://www.xinureturns.com/

Below you can find a sample image of one of my websites.

  1. This is a nice tool, good work!

    Looking forward to your posts re: Joomla 1.5. Are you developing using Joomla 1.5 now then?

    @GWP

    No, I am waiting for 1.5 stable.
    Maybe that could be our Christmas present form the core team :-)

    Limited time at the moment, although I am looking forward to some days off in the next weeks.
    So I hope to get some work done at that time.

    P.s. when is your site ready?
    You have been working on it for some time now!

  3. Hi Pathos,

    I too am waiting for a stable version of 1.5…. Started developing on 1.5 then backtracked it all!!!

    The shell of my website is all working now – I’m just working on the content. It’s a difficult thing to know “when” is the right time to launch – I mean how much content I should have on etc. Do you have any ideas?

    The other point is my keyword research. I really need to try and find my niche. I think thats gonna require quite a bit of time!

    @GWB

    Just start if you think it is valid for users, building more content while running the site is a lot better for SEO, fresh content works great!

    Keyword resaearch is indeed key :-) getting the right structure helps a lot.
    I recently wrote apost on that on my other blog:
    http://blog.design-cars.com/web-and-search-how-to-optimize-your-pages/

    So take your time, get it ready and we will see it next year, thats only three weeks now… take care!

    Have a look on my website. It’s the same like xinureturns, but with a lot less errors and better results. And I am still working on it.

  6. Pathos says:

    @Mirco

    Looks nice, keep working because at this moment I get better info from Xinu for Social bookmark sites.

    I will keep an eye on yout progress, thanks for sharing and your work on this tool set!

  7. Ahh, this is great – I’ve always been looking for tools to analyze my site.

    Thanks for informing :) heading on there to take a look. cheers!
