Everybody wants to be on the Number One spot in Google.
But their search engine ranking system stays secret, so your are never going to know what to do exactly to rank your position in the Top Ten of Google.

I will tell you in several posts how to optimize a Joomla website for Search Engine Top Rankings.
First off:
- Check you website structuur, can anybody who comes in follow the navigation map easely?
- Make sure that your customers can find the information in about 3 Clicks.

Some people know that is works, some have even gone so far as to check the Google results and Track Back on the ones that were known in the Ranking.
As said, you have to try to get your page information within that 3 Click Distance.
In joomla you can easely do this with the Joomla Open-Sef component.
Its easy to install and work wonders on SEF URL’s.
Select the Configuration and go to the SEF Option and look for Content URL Structure: set this to /category/title.
This work best if you have category’s with your kewords in them.
So know you get http://www.pathos-seo.com/joomla-optimization/patching-joomla-for-seo.html and you can see how this works if you check Google on Joomla Optimization….
