Cutline Theme Optimization for Joomla SEO Blog
As some of You already may have noticed, is the Theme for this Blog Cutline that was created by Chris Pearson for Tubetorial, which is by the way a great site for Tutorials…
I didn’t use the Cutline before I found the Post link from this Tubetorial site.
So here is the link to get the Cutline WordPress Theme
But I like to look at coding, especially for Templates and Themes, just call it a Leaning Thing of Code Voyeurism….
I didn’t like the Dog headers that much…I am a cat person myself :-)
Browsing through the post on the Cutline site, I found another coding example.
How to Customize your Header Images
Yet another eye-opener…
After some playing around with Paint Shop Pro I created some what smaller Headers.
But here comes the Optimization for Search Engine Knowledge in place.
The images are no longer called “header1.jpg” but “search-engine-spiders.jpg” just to get my keywords in there.
Then the next thing was the Alt tag in the header coding called and “Header images” Was changed to “Joomla SEO or how to attract spiders” and the “Bloginfo” was put in last instead of first.
Finally under the “masthead” I placed the line with the WordPress “Description” tag so I got the Blog description, which also has some Keywords in them.
To you these changes, other then the Headers Pictures, look just like more work.
And of course this is, You have to think keywords! and then put them in.
But just take a look at the source code and You will see there are my keywords ready to be found…by spiders who crawl…the code!
