Looking at Google and Live.com really promoting the use off their Personalized pages makes you think….
And of course the fact that IE7 also has a Feed button on board, means that there is more potential coming from RSS

If every one is creating there personalized pages with content delivered to them, the best way you can stay in touch is by giving them a Feed to put on those pages.

But there is yet another reason to work with Feeds, and that is that they might gain more importance for SEO in the future than You might think, read this post from Arron Wall about Global Links and Subscription data and you will see that it is going to be more important to get readers for your RSS Feeds.

Make sure you have your Feed run via a service like www.feedburner.com to give you visitors an easy choice on there favorite Feed Reader, or even via E-Mail.

Also make sure to have a Full Feed, just to make your visitors aka Feed-Readers happy…

For WordPress, there is a FeedBurner Plugin, for Joomla I suggest your read Overcoming-the-joomla-rss-feed-syndication-problem

So, what are you waiting for, get those Feeds Burning…

If you have read this Blog, then you know I will write primarily about Joomla and Search Engine Optimization with this great Content Management System.

In Joomla I never use the Default WYSIWYG Editor TinyMCE, nor do I use the Editors Choice JCE.
If you want to use that you need to upload different plug-ins for each task… hmmm.., No, not for me..

So my all time favorite is JoomlaFCK which does everything you could ask for, and even leaves your HTML and Java-scripts alone.

FCK Editor for WordPress

That of course would be my best option, right?
Well I tried, but could not get it to work… must be my bad knowledge in PHP and stuff.

So the search went on, and WordPress came to version 2.12 now, and the Editor works oke, but I still wanted more…

XinHa to the rescue

Today I found what I was looking for all this time, I am writing this post right now with a Great Editor for WordPress.

I was browsing via an E-Mail, going from wordpress-from-install-to-pimped-out/#comment-995 to the link http://loggedoff.org/using-wordpress-as-a-cms/ to finally arrive at http://plugins.baptiste.us/plugins/xinha4wp/

Just to show you how my mind works, in mysterious ways and hyperlinking…don’t you just love the Internet..

So, where does Xena comes in?

After installing the Editor Plugin, which was really quit simple, Download, Unzip, Upload and activate, set some options and ready, I wanted to know a little more on this nice Gem.

So I checked out http://xinha.python-hosting.com/ which is the layer of Xinha…
And there she was, Xena , the Warrior Princess in her Full Glory..
Xena Warrior Princess – Complete Series

Now you have to forgive me, but from the original series, I always liked Gabrielle more then Xena…

But now I really like XinHa because she/it lets me even upload and set the parameters for Images like these in One screen.

It even comes with a Spell Checker..

Just try the Plugin, but don’t forget to Disable the WYSIWYG editor for WordPress after installation.
You can find the Option by editing the User and check the Profile Tab…

Happy writing with Xena..ehh.. sorry XinHa.

P.s. Reminder to myself to check “The Ultimate tag Warrior” Plugin (Maybe they should call it Gabrielle?)
