Blog! to supports Your SEO for Joomla attempts

4

Yes that’s right! Blog!

I am suggesting you to Blog about your website as part of your Search Engine Optimization effort!

Because Blogging has several advantages over Joomla Websites to do some so called Blog marketing.
In my case WordPress is the best choice, could be yours as well.

Blog Marketing

This is wat its al about, bring your website into the picture of search engines by giving your bloc a least three must have things:

  • RSS Feed possibility from Feedburner
  • Technorati claim you blog
  • Feedblitz to let people subscribe by email to your RSS Feed

These items integrated give you more exposure then just simple Search Engine Optimization for your Joomla base website.

Proof?
Search Google for Joomla SEO and look for Pathos-Seo.com
N.b. should be within the first two pages…..

But you really should do both!

I don’t quite understand what feedburner is, though I see it all over wordpress blogs. What about just feeding from a “myBlog” Joomla blog?

    2. Pathos says:

      @HDR

Feedburner is a different package then myBlogLog which is a Social Networkign site for Blogging.

On you site you have a truckload of options that people can choose from…
Just give them one Option, Feedburner will handle ther choise fo reader, even email if the want.
      Check the site of FeedBurner.

hi pathos, i wanna ask some question , right now i have www dot xxx dot com , and then i create a new section for blog which using sh404sef , it place under www dot xxx dot com / index.php/Blog , is it could be usefull for my SEO site? the last address , i always update it once a day , and while doing blogwalk , the last address is the address that i use to leave trace for dofollow blog, thank you before

    4. @baranq: If you change the configuration screen on sh404SEF to advanced (right hand site op the controlpanel) you will see a tab that says “advanced” you can than select “with .htacces”. that option will remove the /index.php/ from the URL.

You need to make sure your .htaccess is good for this optione, please check the documentation within sh404sef control panel before your do this!
